Summary
This study looked at whether celecoxib, an anti-inflammatory drug, can reduce brain inflammation in people with major depression. Forty-one adults with depression received brain scans before and after 8 weeks of celecoxib treatment. The goal was to see if lowering inflammation in key brain areas would also reduce depressive symptoms.
