Summary
This study tested the safety and how the body processes the antibiotic cefiderocol in hospitalized children with serious bacterial infections. It involved 53 children, from 3 months to under 18 years old, who had infections like pneumonia, sepsis, or urinary tract infections. Researchers gave the children single and multiple doses to check for side effects and to determine the right amount of medicine for different ages.
