Summary
This study tested the safety and how the body processes the antibiotic cefiderocol in 53 hospitalized children aged 3 months to 18 years with serious gram-negative bacterial infections. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and to determine the right dose. The study was completed and focused on controlling the infection, not curing the underlying condition.
