NCT ID NCT07487883

First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests a new type of PET scan that uses a special probe (68Ga-TOI-1) to find lung tumors. The probe targets a protein called CDH3, which is only found on cancer cells. Researchers want to see if this scan is more accurate than the standard PET scan for diagnosing and staging lung cancer. About 80 adults with suspected or confirmed lung cancer will take part.
