NCT ID NCT00950118
First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study aims to find the genes that make a baby more likely to be born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), a hole in the muscle that separates the chest from the belly. Researchers will collect DNA samples from 3,000 people with CDH and their families to look for genetic causes. The goal is to better understand the disease and, in the future, find ways to prevent or treat it.
