First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at whether certain stem cells (CD34+) help the heart heal in people with Takotsubo syndrome, also known as broken heart syndrome. Researchers will measure heart function in 40 adults at the start and after 6 months. The goal is to understand how these cells relate to recovery, not to test a new treatment.
