Head-to-Head: which talk therapy works best for depression?
NCT ID NCT04690946
Summary
This study compared two common talk therapies—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)—to see which is more effective for people with depression. Researchers followed 112 adults with moderate to major depression, measuring their symptoms and experiences throughout treatment. The goal was to understand what makes each therapy work and for whom, to help match people with the best treatment for them.
