First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests a team-based pain management program that uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help breast cancer survivors cope with joint and muscle pain caused by their hormone-lowering medications. About 115 women with early-stage breast cancer will either join the program or receive usual care. The goal is to see if the program reduces pain, improves thinking and mood, and helps women stick with their prescribed treatment.
