First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at how a type of talk therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) improves sleep by affecting the body's main stress hormone, cortisol. Researchers will track sleep and stress levels in 115 adults with chronic insomnia over several months. The goal is to understand why CBT-I works, not to test a new treatment.
