Talking it out: CBT eases distress in women with vaginismus

Summary
This study tested whether cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) could help women with vaginismus feel less psychological distress and improve their problem-solving skills. Sixty women were split into two groups: one received CBT sessions, the other got routine care. Results showed that CBT helped reduce distress and improve coping abilities.
