Teen anxiety study aims to calm young minds with talk therapy

Summary

This study tests a 16-week cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) program, called the C.A.T Project, for Pakistani teenagers aged 14 to 17 with moderate to severe anxiety. Half of the 50 participants receive the therapy, while the other half wait or get usual care. The goal is to see if the program reduces anxiety, fears, and related problems, and improves school performance and well-being.
