NCT ID NCT07284160
Summary
This study aims to see if a specific type of talk therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) can help reduce social media addiction in university students. The therapy focuses on addressing 'rest shame'—the feeling that taking breaks or resting is wrong or lazy. Researchers will enroll 120 students to test if changing these thoughts and behaviors leads to less problematic social media use.
