Summary

This study tests a type of talking therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) in 770 young people aged 12-24 in Hong Kong who have moderate mental distress and trouble sleeping. Participants will attend six weekly group sessions led by trained youth workers. The goal is to see if the therapy improves sleep quality, reduces mental distress, and boosts daily functioning compared to those who receive the therapy later.
