Summary
This study tested a 4-week cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) program designed to help people with functional tremor (a movement disorder not caused by brain damage) learn to reframe their thoughts. Twenty adults with the condition completed the program. Researchers measured changes in tremor severity and overall well-being using doctor and patient ratings. The goal was to see if CBT can reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.
