NCT ID NCT07407829
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a psychologist-guided physical activity program, based on CBT and ACT, can be used in regular care for adults with stress-related exhaustion. About 12 to 20 participants will take part in 5 to 6 sessions, logging activity and completing questionnaires. The goal is to see if the program is feasible, safe, and acceptable, not yet to prove it works.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
CBT/ACT-based psychologist-delivered physical activity program
What this could lead to
If this program works, it could offer a practical way to help people with stress-related exhaustion build healthy physical activity habits as part of their regular care.
What could go wrong
This is a very small feasibility study with only 20 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. It is designed to test if the program can be delivered, not yet to prove it improves symptoms.
