Belly fat be gone? new injection heads to phase 3 trial

Summary
This study tests an injection called CBL-514 to see if it can safely reduce belly fat. About 320 adults with moderate to severe abdominal fat will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to measure fat reduction using MRI and patient reports.
