First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking cannabidiol (CBD) pills can change how breast cancer cells grow or die before surgery. About 84 women with invasive breast cancer will take either a low or high dose of CBD or a placebo for 5 to 56 days before their tumor is removed. The goal is to see if CBD affects cell growth markers in the tumor and to check for side effects.
