Summary
This study tested a capsule containing highly purified CBD and natural plant compounds (terpenes) to see if it improves sleep in people with chronic insomnia. 125 adults aged 25-70 with long-term sleep problems took the capsule or a placebo. The researchers measured sleep stages using a wrist-worn device to see if the CBD product increased deep and dream sleep.
