Brain scans reveal if CBD eases social fear

NCT ID NCT05571592

Summary

This study tested whether a legal, hemp-derived CBD pill could reduce symptoms of social anxiety disorder. For three weeks, 60 adults with social anxiety took either a high dose, a low dose, or a placebo pill. Researchers used brain scans and stress tests to see if CBD changed how the brain responds to fear and anxiety.
