First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested pure cannabidiol (CBD) in 25 children aged 1 to 17 with severe epilepsy that did not respond to other treatments. The goal was to see if adding CBD to their current medications could reduce how often they had seizures. Families kept seizure diaries to track changes before and after starting CBD.
