Scientists test CBD's direct impact on breast cancer cells
NCT ID NCT06148038
Summary
This early-stage study aims to see if taking cannabidiol (CBD) causes biological changes in breast cancer tumors before a patient's scheduled surgery. Researchers will enroll 60 people with breast cancer and randomly give them either CBD or a placebo pill for 5 to 56 days before their operation. The main goal is to learn if CBD affects how cancer cells grow or die, and to check for side effects and changes in anxiety levels.
