Brain scans reveal if CBD boosts therapy for anxiety

Summary
This study is testing whether adding an FDA-approved CBD medication to standard talk therapy (CBT) helps adults with generalized anxiety disorder. Researchers will use brain scans to see if CBD helps the brain better control emotions during treatment. About 90 participants aged 18-45 will receive either CBD or a placebo alongside therapy to compare results.
