Could earlier catheter removal get back surgery patients walking faster?

NCT ID NCT05359926

Summary

This study aimed to find out if removing a patient's urinary catheter sooner after minimally invasive back surgery helps them get up and walk faster. It planned to compare 'early removal' to the usual 'delayed removal' timing. The goal was to see if walking sooner could lead to a shorter hospital stay and fewer complications like infections.
