First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways of using a urinary catheter during labor in patients who have an epidural. Some patients get a catheter that stays in place, while others have it inserted and removed every few hours. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer bladder problems and infections after giving birth. About 564 pregnant adults planning a vaginal delivery will take part.
