Gentler catheter removal? study tests gravity method vs. nurse pull
NCT ID NCT05313945
Summary
This study compares two methods for removing bladder catheters after urologic surgery. Researchers want to see if letting the catheter fall out naturally by gravity causes less discomfort than having a nurse pull it out. They will measure patient satisfaction, pain, and anxiety in 160 men recovering from prostate or bladder procedures.
