First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests two types of catheter rinses (Uro-Tainer with citric acid or polihexanide) to see if they can reduce how often catheters need to be changed due to blockages. It also looks at whether they prevent infections, improve quality of life, and save money. The study involves 70 adults with permanent catheters who have had blockage problems before.
