Ancient needle trick may beat acupuncture for back pain

Summary

This study tests a treatment called catgut embedding for chronic low back pain caused by lumbar spondylosis. 66 adults will receive either catgut embedding (2 sessions) or electro-acupuncture (20 sessions) over 4 weeks. The goal is to see which method reduces pain and improves daily activities better. All participants also get lifestyle advice and back exercises.
