New cataract surgery device under study for faster recovery

Summary
This study looks at a new dual-mode phacoemulsification system used during cataract surgery. Researchers want to see if it reduces surgery time and damage to the eye's inner lining. About 50 adults having age-related cataract surgery will take part. They will be checked 3 months after surgery to measure eye thickness, cell count, and vision.
