New cataract lenses aim to ditch reading glasses

NCT ID NCT06891092

Summary

This study is comparing two new types of artificial lenses used in cataract surgery. The goal is to see which lens helps people see better at all distances—far away, at arm's length, and up close—for activities like driving and reading. Researchers will enroll 100 patients getting cataract surgery in both eyes and measure their vision quality three months after the procedure.
