New cataract lens aims for sharper vision at more distances
NCT ID NCT04249492
Summary
This study compared a newer 'enhanced depth of focus' (EDOF) lens to a standard monofocal lens in people getting cataract surgery. It involved 250 adults in Europe and Asia who had cataracts but no other major eye problems. The main goal was to see if the newer lens provided similar or better vision quality and safety over a year.
