New lens aims to sharpen vision after cataract surgery

Summary

This study compares a new artificial lens (D615L) with a standard lens (Zeiss 839MP) for people having cataract surgery. The goal is to see if the new lens provides better vision at different distances without glasses. About 90 adults with age-related cataracts will receive one of the two lenses and be followed for at least 6 months.
