Could a tiny drop under the tongue tame Kids' nut allergies?

NCT ID NCT07170540

Summary

This study is testing whether a liquid placed under the tongue (sublingual immunotherapy) can help children aged 1-11 become less sensitive to cashew nuts. Over 18 months, researchers will see if the treatment safely allows kids to tolerate small amounts of cashew without a serious reaction. The goal is to reduce the risk of accidental exposure and control the allergy, not necessarily cure it.
