Cash for care: testing monthly payments to help black men with HIV

NCT ID NCT06186128

Summary

This study is testing if giving low-income Black men living with HIV a monthly cash payment of $500 for six months helps them get to more doctor's appointments and take their HIV medication more consistently. Researchers want to see if this extra money reduces barriers to care and helps more men achieve an undetectable viral load. The study will enroll 80 men in Arkansas to compare those who receive the payments to those who do not.
