Summary
This study tested a program to reduce anemia in teenage girls in flood-affected areas of Pakistan. It gave mothers small cash payments if their daughters took weekly iron supplements and attended nutrition education sessions. Researchers measured if this approach successfully lowered anemia rates and improved nutrition knowledge among over 2,100 girls and their families.
