Summary
This study looks at whether giving monthly cash payments to low-income residents of Chelsea, Massachusetts changes how much they spend on health care. Researchers will analyze data from a city program that randomly selected people to receive cash benefits during the pandemic. About 3,600 adults took part, and the goal is to understand if extra money leads to different health care choices.
