This study looked at whether drinking casein protein before bed or right after exercise helps trained football players recover better and perform well. Twenty-four male players were split into three groups: pre-sleep protein, post-exercise protein, or no protein. Researchers measured their power, agility, and recovery markers after a tough workout.
