Can a cartoon calm kids before surgery?
NCT ID NCT07495878
Summary
This study aims to see if a special educational cartoon can help reduce anxiety in children aged 7 to 12 before they have elective surgery. Researchers will compare the cartoon's effect to a regular fun cartoon and to standard verbal information given by hospital staff. The goal is to find a better way to help children feel less scared before their procedure.
