Summary
This study tested a treatment called CHONDRON, which uses a patient's own cartilage cells grown in a lab to repair knee cartilage defects. Twenty-two people with knee osteoarthritis or traumatic arthritis took part. The main goal was to see if the treatment reduced pain and improved knee function over 48 weeks, with some patients followed for up to 96 weeks.
