Carrot juice trial aims to stop dangerous colon polyps from returning

NCT ID NCT06335420

Summary

This study is testing whether drinking carrot juice daily can prevent new colon polyps from growing in people who recently had large polyps removed. 400 participants will drink either real carrot juice or a placebo juice every day for one year, then have a colonoscopy to check for new polyps. The goal is to see if natural compounds in carrots can reduce the risk of polyp recurrence in high-risk individuals.
