NCT ID NCT06653192

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares two ways to unblock the bile duct in people with cancer that is blocking it. One method uses an ultrasound-guided stent, the other is a standard scope procedure. The goal is to see which method fails less often and causes fewer cases of pancreatitis. About 120 people with resectable or borderline resectable cancer will take part.
