New stent offers hope for Stroke-Prone patients too sick for surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new carotid artery stent system for people with narrowed neck arteries who are at high risk for the standard surgical procedure. It aims to see if placing this stent is safe and effective at preventing strokes and other complications. The study will enroll about 212 patients across multiple hospitals in China.
