Summary

This early study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of a new carotid stent called CGuard Prime™ in patients who are having an acute ischemic stroke. It involves 15 adult patients with a significant blockage in their neck artery who are actively experiencing a stroke. The main goal is to see if placing this stent during the stroke procedure is safe and helps patients recover better within 90 days.
