Summary
This study tests a new way to grade carotid plaques using ultrasound, called Plaque-RADS, to see if it can predict stroke risk better than current methods. Researchers will collect data from 855 people with asymptomatic carotid plaques and build a risk model. The goal is to identify high-risk patients earlier so they can get treatment to prevent strokes and reduce disability.
