First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether teaching caregivers how to prevent pressure ulcers (bedsores) helps patients who get care at home. 57 patients and their caregivers took part. Caregivers learned about skin care, repositioning, and pressure relief. The goal was to lower the risk of bedsores, which are common in bedridden or limited-mobility patients.
