Hidden toll: study reveals strain on stroke patient caregivers
NCT ID NCT07480642
Summary
This study aimed to understand the challenges faced by family members caring for stroke patients who have bladder control issues. Researchers surveyed 70 caregivers to measure their stress levels, fatigue, sleep problems, and feelings of depression. The goal was to gather information to highlight the needs of these often-overlooked caregivers, not to test a new treatment.
