New approach aims to bridge the gap to addiction treatment
NCT ID NCT06729957
Summary
This study is testing whether a 'Care Navigation' service helps people who call a mental health helpline actually start and stay in treatment for drug or alcohol use disorders. Care navigators, who are separate from the usual helpline staff, will guide patients to treatment options. The goal is to see if this extra support makes it easier for people to get the help they need.
