Summary

This study looks at how often women experience posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after undergoing gynecologic brachytherapy, a type of internal radiation for cancer. Researchers want to find better ways to make the removal of the treatment implants more comfortable and less distressing. About 36 women who have had multiple brachytherapy sessions will take part, answering surveys about their comfort and emotional well-being.
