First seen May 16, 2026 ยท Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study planned to test a new device called the Cardiovalve, which is placed through a leg vein to replace a leaky mitral heart valve without open-chest surgery. It was designed for people with severe mitral regurgitation who were too high-risk for traditional surgery. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
