New heart valve procedure offers hope for High-Risk patients
NCT ID NCT03958773
Summary
This study is testing a new device called the Cardiovalve system for people with a severely leaking mitral valve in their heart who cannot have traditional open-heart surgery. The device is a replacement valve delivered through a small incision in the leg, avoiding major chest surgery. Researchers will check if the procedure is safe and if it successfully reduces the leak and improves patients' symptoms over two years.
