First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study aims to collect fitness data from 800 healthy adults aged 18 to 65 to establish normal ranges for cardiorespiratory fitness. Participants will perform a simple step test to estimate their VO2max, a key measure of how well the body uses oxygen during exercise. The results will help doctors and researchers better understand what 'normal' fitness looks like in the general population.
